Indian Army / Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has released the notification for the recruitment of Army Dental Corps SSC Officer 2025. Online applications started on 18 August 2025 and can be submitted until 17 September 2025. A total of 30 Short Service Commissioned Officers will be recruited in the Dental Corps.

Eligibility
- BDS (minimum 55% marks in final year) or MDS from a DCI recognized college/university.
- Completed one-year compulsory rotatory internship (by 31 Dec 2025).
- Valid State Dental Council Registration (Permanent/Provisional) up to 31 Dec 2025.
- Must have appeared in NEET (MDS) 2025 conducted by NBEMS on 19 April 2025.
- Only Indian citizens are eligible.
Physical Standard
- Male: Minimum Height 157 cm (relaxable for NE/Hill areas).
- Female: Minimum Height 152 cm (relaxable for NE/Hill areas).
- Candidate must be medically and mentally fit as per Armed Forces standards.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on NEET (MDS) 2025 scores (1:10 ratio).
- Interview by Selection Board at Delhi.
- Final Merit List based on interview performance.
- Medical Examination by Armed Forces Medical Board.
Service Details
- Commissioned in the rank of Captain.
- Initial tenure: 5 years, extendable to maximum 14 years.
- Training at AMC Centre & College, Lucknow.
- Permanent Commission opportunity after 2 years of SSC service (subject to eligibility & age).
