• AND recognized diploma OR Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English

Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ)
Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)
Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)Candidates who have a Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with Hindi or English as a compulsory subject,
OR a Master’s Degree in any subject with English as the medium of instruction and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level,
AND a recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa,
or 2 years of experience.
Mode Of Selection
SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Selection Process

1. Written Exam (Tier-1):
• An objective (multiple-choice) exam to assess the candidate’s basic knowledge, aptitude, or subject-specific skills.
• It acts as the preliminary screening stage.

2. Subjective Written Exam (Tier-2):
• A descriptive exam where candidates may need to write essays, translate passages, or answer detailed questions related to the job or subject matter.
• This stage evaluates writing skills and in-depth subject understanding.

3. Document Verification (DV):
• Candidates must present original documents related to education, identity, and experience.
• It confirms eligibility and the authenticity of the information provided.

4. Medical Examination (ME):
• A health and fitness test to ensure candidates meet the required medical standards.
• This step is important for roles that demand physical fitness.
